DIY Pumpkin Floral Arrangement
Ready to make a fun + easy Fall floral arrangement with Trader Joes flowers? All you need is a carvable pumpkin ( found mine at Hobbylobby ) flowers and a glass vase!
Pick up at Trader Joe’s
2-3 bundles of seeded eucalyptus greenery
2 bundles of dahlia’s
( if these aren’t available, choose colors like burgundy, maroon, darker pinks, purple, beige, white, colors of Fall )
What You’ll Need:
Small glass vase
Grocery bags
A carving knife
Sharpie
Carvable Pumpkin

When it comes to creating a stunning pumpkin floral arrangement, choosing the right flowers is crucial. And that’s where Trader Joe’s flowers come in. Trader Joe’s is well-known for their high-quality, fresh flowers that are not only beautiful but also affordable. I love their wide selection of flowers for a great price. You can find vibrant sunflowers to delicate roses, whatever color scheme you like, I’m sure you can find something that works!
My Trader Joe’s parking lot is always insane, so I always try to go early ( like when they open up ) so I can get what I need and run out!
How to Choose the Right Pumpkins
When it comes to choosing the right pumpkins for your floral arrangement, there are a few factors to consider. First, think about the size and shape of your pumpkin. You’ll want one that is sturdy and can hold the weight of the flowers without tipping over. Look for pumpkins that have a flat or slightly concave top, as this will make it easier to create a stable base for your arrangement.
Next, consider faux or real? I use faux pumpkins, it lasts longer period! Not much more to say about it! But if you want to use real, you absolutely can just know it won’t last as long. But that’s up to you!
How to create a pumpkin arrangement
Now let’s start designing, I swear its not that hard to make! Follow these simple steps to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece that will impress your guests and bring a touch of Fall beauty to your home.
- Step 1: Gather your materials. You’ll need a medium-sized pumpkin, a sharp knife, glass vase, scissors, water, and of course, your choice of Trader Joe’s flowers.
- Step 2: Begin by tracing the top of your glass vase over the the top of your pumpkin, creating a lid. Make sure to cut at an angle so that the lid can easily come out.
- Step 3: Add random grocery bags that you have inside your pumpkin to give the vase some cushion.
- Step 4: Insert your vase with water into your pumpkin.
- Step 5: Trim the stems of your Trader Joe’s flowers to the desired length, making sure to leave enough so that they can come out of the pumpkin. Start by inserting the greenery first, then add the blooms in the center and work your way outwards, adding different textures and colors to create depth and interest.
- Step 6: Fill in any gaps with additional foliage or smaller flowers. This will help create a fuller and more balanced arrangement.
- Step 7: Finally, place your arrangement in your home! On a console table, dining table, dresser, nightstand, front porch, wherever you like! Enjoy!
