A MOTHER’S TRADITION

As a kid, growing up in a multi-cultural family was always special. From the food and the music to the traditions, I loved having so much variety and taste of the world through my upbringing. My mom grew up in Chile and as a kid, I remember always bouncing around the kitchen while watching her cook or roast some delicious smelling coffee.

I lived in Chile twice growing up and we always had NESCAFÉ® CLÁSICO™ in our kitchen, ready to make Cafe Con Leche. My mom would prepare it hot or cold depending on how we wanted it that day for “tea time,” which was always loco amounts of food too! The taste reminds me of when I was a kid and the memories made around it.

NOSTALGIC AROMA AND TASTE

100% pure coffee and $.06 per cup, Nescafé Cláscio can be found at your local Walmart! It is my complete nostalgic choice when it comes to family and good conversations. Bold yet familiar, it’s a go-to for me!

Nescafé Cláscio can be easily found in the coffee aisle at Walmart, so I took a trip with my mother to pick some up so we could make cafe con leche the same way we did when I was a kid! I bought Nescafé Cláscio Dark Roast from Walmart, but you can also add it to your online cart on Walmart’s online grocery and pick up today!

HOMEMADE CAFE CON LECHE

It’s super easy to make cafe con leche at home! I had my mother over for a cozy afternoon of girl talk and we made our homemade favorite!

1. Rapid boil milk in a small pot until it’s boiling. Take off.

2. Add 1 tsp. of NESCAFÉ® CLÁSICO™ to your mug.

3. Add the desired amount of sweetener.

4. Slowly pour your heated milk into your mug, mix well, and enjoy!
