If you have an awesome group of girlfriends like myself, it sure can get quickly comfortable with your everyday hangs but it’s fun to mix it up a little. As much as relationships can get pretty routine, I think it’s important not only to nourish your romantic relationship with your significant other but to also strive to make new memories strong bonds with your girlfriends because let’s be honest it, there’s nothing like the friendship you have with your sisters. My friends hear me when I vent, cry, get excited to share something or even talk about the most ridiculous things ever. So here’s to you girlfriend, here are some ideas for your next girls day or night out. Cheers!
I’m not kidding with you when I say this, I seriously look forward to potluck night each time we host it. My girlfriends and I are in this group text and every single time we mention “when is our next potluck” the thread lights up. Choose a friends house to host, then what we do is usually have everyone bring a side dish and a bottle of wine, my personal favorite bottle of amazing tasting wine is by Ava Grace Vineyards.
Ava Grace adds a touch of elegance to any occasion. Zesty and bright, I love sipping on the Pinot Grigio, a crisp, medium-bodied with flavors of honeysuckle and lime that envelop the palate. Make sure to take a look at more of their collections from Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Merlot, Red Blend and Chardonay! Cheers the night away!
The best feeling is to give back, it brings community together and opens the heart. Volunteering is a great team building and humbling experience. You can meet new people and quickly see your efforts turn into something amazing and help someone in need to have a better day. So many different ways to volunteer at your local school, a charity, at church, fix and serve meals or at a non-profit. After putting some research in it, you’re bound to find one that fits!
Yes, I’m back to wine but hey, it’s fun and the best conversations happen over a glass of wine. Am I right? If you live close to a vineyard or even a winery where you can stop by or make reservations to learn about how wine is made, go tasting or even put together a cheese and cracker basket to go enjoy the outdoors with your girlfriends. I’m totally down for wine and cheese any day!
Depending on where you live, you will most likely find a bike trail somewhat nearby. If you don’t own a bike, no worries! They’re plenty of bike rental companies to borrow a ride for a day and return when you’re done. Grab your friends, put some comfy sneaks on and design your own tour of places you could stop at and continue your crawl. There’s something about riding a bike, I tend to notice things I never did around my own city! Make sure to take a group photo at each stop, fill your day with riding around town and the wind in your hair…and did I mention it’s a great workout?
If you’re like me, I’d like to think I’m an amazing dancer but truth be told I need help with moves as much as my friends do, haha. Lord knows I love to dance but I wouldn’t mind getting better at it. If you want to get a great calorie burn in, get your girlfriends to sign up for a dance class or a boot camp course that will kick your butt! So many classes available like paddle board yoga, trampoline fitness, Latin dance, zumba fitness and more!
I love laughing and nothing will make me laugh more by seeing my girlfriends get on stage and start singing their heart out, or attempting to. If you love laughter, karaoke night always sounds like a good time to me. It’s affordable, fun and satisfaction guaranteed to get some major giggle and memories in. I am sure you will put this night in for many memories to continue laughing about year after.
