Travel to Chile

GEM OF A COUNTRY, CHILE

Last month I had an amazing trip to Chile, what a stunning country! My mom is from there and I have tons of family still in the capital city of Santiago. A foodie myself, I was so excited to eat and try all the yummy Chilean tastes that would be offered. The fresh and extravagant variety of fruits and vegetables that are grown in the beautiful terrain in Chile, makes all of it scrumptious. Now let’ not just chat about the food here! My uncle and aunt have a home in the mountains, a small mountain town called “Calejo”, where my cousin who is a talented architect! He built a home completely eco-friendly, which makes it even more unique.

WAKING  UP TO THE CRISP

I literally woke up to crisp air, 55 degrees ( it’s Summer in Chile ) and birds chirping from afar, it was to say the least so very relaxing. Santiago, filled with hustle and bustle of businesses and sky scrapers of modern decor and the Andes mountains wrapping every corner you turn. My mother as a teenager would visit this beautiful beach town called Zappallar, in the shots below that’s where I am, taking it all in. I loved experiencing the raw beauty of Chile. I hope to return soon, as there is so much more I want to discover. If you are ever thinking about traveling somewhere in South America, Chile is a must stop. The beaches, mountains, city, food and gosh, everything can be found here, I mean everything! Enjoy some of my shots below taken with film, oh and cheers…to pisco! If you haven’t had pisco, google it!
