If you’ve walked along Park Avenue lately, you may have noticed a beautiful new addition to the street – The Chapman. Nestled right in the heart of Winter Park, this new restaurant instantly caught my eye with its gorgeous design and inviting atmosphere. Plus I get super excited when I see new spots to try in town, and let me tell you, I finally had the chance to visit – and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype.
You know I love sharing the best eats around town, especially when they’re local to my Florida roots, and this one deserves a top spot.
My Outfit: Sundress with Pockets // White Studded Sandals // Handbag // Sunnies
Walking into The Chapman, you’re instantly greeted by the charm and elegance that Winter Park is known for. The space is warm, modern, and classic all at the same time. The history of the area just exudes from the walls, and the energy is both elevated and welcoming.
Our server was incredibly kind and attentive – one of those dining experiences where you can just relax and enjoy every bite. It was date night for Lucas and I so we had the excuse to dress up a little bit, but you don’t have to get too fancy to dine here, casual nice works!
Let’s talk food, because every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I obviously had to take photos of each!
Citrus Feta and Ricotta Whip
This was hands-down my favorite. Creamy, tangy, and just the right amount of citrus to make your tastebuds dance. Served with warm grilled bread – I could’ve eaten this all night. Lucas and I devoured this one fast!
Artisanal Burrata and Prosciutto
Another win. Fresh burrata paired with the saltiness of the crunchy prosciutto and a sweet drizzle of fig. A delicious balance that felt fancy but comforting.
BLT Wedge Salad
You can’t go wrong with a classic wedge, but this one had crispy pancetta, heirloom tomatoes, and a dreamy dressing that elevated it to the next level. Super refreshing and light.
Brass Town Beef Burger
We split this one and I’m so glad we did because it was so good. Juicy and flavorful – it hit every burger craving perfectly. We were stuffed at this point, haha.
You can’t leave without dessert! The Sky High Citrus Meringue Pie. This one was personal. As a Florida girl, this dessert brought me back to my childhood – hot sunny weekends, driving by orange groves, and my mom’s lemon meringue. The Chapman’s version is nostalgic, elevated, and seriously impressive in height!
Park Avenue is filled with so many boutiques and shops, we took a walk down to Casa Feliz which is located pretty much “at the end of Park Ave”. I used to shoot weddings here when I was a Wedding Photographer back in the day and it’s always so gorgeous to walk through. Great photo opp spot, so yeah…we took pics!
The Chapman truly brings something special to Park Avenue. From the thoughtful menu to the excellent service and beautiful ambiance, it’s one of those places that feels like a treat without being too stuffy. Whether you’re local or visiting Winter Park for the day, it’s a must-try.
