I’m not in my 20’s anymore, and I’m not going to act like my skin is either. That’s why I’ve turned to nontoxic skincare as a solution for my needs. Once I started hitting my later 30’s, my legs started to get dry nonstop, my lines and wrinkles started to make a permanent home on my face and well, as a woman we know how these small shifts can easily turn into a bigger change when it comes to self-care.
If you’re in your 30s or 40s and starting to notice some big changes in your skin (hi dryness, dullness, fine lines – thanks, hormones!), I totally get it. Perimenopause symptoms are real, and our skin is often the first to tell us something’s shifting. That’s why I’ve slowly swapped my skincare routine to include more intentional and clean products that support these changes without harsh ingredients. Transitioning to products that prioritize nontoxic skincare has been essential.
Today I’m sharing my go-to non-toxic skincare products that I use weekly, all available on Amazon ( yep, convenient and clean ). These products are gentle on skin, hormone-safe, and still super effective. Let’s dive in!
Let me just say – these products have earned their spot on my bathroom shelf. I use them every single day, and I’ve been using them long enough to confidently recommend them. I totally get that everyone’s skin is different, but one thing I love about this lineup is that the ingredients are clean and gentle – something I really look for.
My skin? Sensitive, with a little redness, plus I deal with keratosis pilaris on my arms and on my face. As I’ve gotten older, it’s definitely flared up more, so finding products that don’t irritate or dry me out is a big deal.
And the best part? You can grab every single one of these on Amazon. Easy, clean, and so good for skin that’s going through those 30s-and-beyond changes.
1. OGEE Contour Collection
A clean beauty staple in my routine – this collection is amazing for subtle contouring while nourishing your skin with organic oils and plant-based pigments. It blends beautifully and leaves you looking glowy, not cakey.
2. PURA D’OR Vitamin C Face Wash
Brightens, hydrates, and is packed with antioxidants. I use this daily to gently cleanse without drying out my already sensitive perimenopausal skin, making it a key part of my nontoxic skincare routine.
3. Beauty by Earth Self Tanner Mousse
This gives me that healthy summer glow without chemicals or the sun. It’s buildable, non-orange, and hydrating – yes please!
4. OneSkin Topical Supplements for Face
Think skincare meets science. These topical peptides help improve firmness and target aging before it settles in. My skin feels smoother and brighter after using consistently, as part of a nontoxic skincare regimen.
5. Vegamour Scalp Massager
Not just for your scalp – this is total self-care. I use it in the shower to boost circulation and promote healthy hair growth, which has been huge for my thinning hair lately. I also use it to de-tangle my hair in the shower while my conditioner is working through!
6. Gleamin Vitamin Clay Mask
Clay masks can be drying, but this one is packed with Vitamin C and turmeric so it actually brightens while detoxing. I use it once a week for a little skin reset, which complements my nontoxic skincare routine.
7. Acure Brightening Facial Scrub
This scrub is gritty in the best way and smells amazing. It’s great for exfoliating dry patches and revealing fresh, soft skin underneath.
8. Glimmer Goddess Organic Unscented Whipped Body Butter
This body butter is a dream for dry skin – rich, thick, and completely unscented for anyone with sensitivity. I love that it melts right in and gives all-day hydration, making it ideal for nontoxic skincare.
9. Bare Botanics Sea Salt Body Scrub (Unscented)
My go-to in the shower when my skin is feeling dull or flaky. It buffs away dead skin without any fake fragrance. Leaves me smooth and soft! I also suffer from Keratosis pilaris on my arms, and it tends to help tone it down while also hydrating it.
These swaps don’t have to happen all at once – but choosing clean, nourishing products makes a difference over time. Nontoxic skincare principles guide these choices, offering your skin the TLC it deserves, especially during this season of life.
