It’s something that I’m always tempted to order for an appetizer at any restaurant, but I have to say that this version is going to be healthier and fresh for you! Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 2 Large Yellow or White Onions trim the ends, peel off the skins and cut the onions in slices
  • 3/4 Cup Almond Flour or Coconut flour
  • 1 Cup Gluten Free bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt & Pepper

Honey Mustard Dip

  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 2 tbsp. Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp. Lemon Juice

Instructions:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375.
  • Place the flour in a large bowl
  • In a separate bowl combine your bread crumbs paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper and mix
  • Whisk your eggs and milk in a separate bowl.
  • Dip your single rings into the egg mix, then the flour mix, egg mix again then the bread crumbs mix and add to your air fryer dish. Repeat until finished!
  • Place rings inside preheated air fryer and spray with cooking oil ( I used avocado oil ) and cook for 5 or more minutes until golden brown and flip over and cook another 5 minutes.
  • Remove the rings and set aside. Mix a dipping sauce together of choice. I made a honey mustard dip!
