The Lesley Project, family room makeover! When you entered my clients home an empty space was just…THERE! I decided to design it into a sitting area, a bookshelf was built-in first and then I came in to design the rest! Next project is adding a cute built-in wine nook + shelves in the empty corner to complete! So far, I’m loving how it looks like! Check out the before and after! Family Room Transformation

The family room renovation turned this space into a bright, airy haven with a serene, neutral palette. Soft shades of beige, white, and grey create a calming atmosphere, while a mix of textures—like plush rugs, cozy throws – dds warmth and depth.

Neutral Home Decor Tips

  1. Light Walls: Opt for light-colored walls to make the room feel larger and more open.
  2. Mirrors: Strategically placed mirrors reflect natural light, enhancing the room’s brightness.
  3. Minimalist Furniture: Choose sleek, functional pieces to keep the space uncluttered.
  4. Layered Textures: Combine different textures in pillows, rugs, and upholstery for a cozy yet sophisticated look.

This neutral makeover not only refreshed the family room but also made it a versatile space perfect for relaxation and gatherings.
