When it comes to decorating your dining table for Fall I always say don’t overthink it or over do it. My friend recently called me in a tizzy the other day while she was at Hobby Lobby and was like “Andi, there’s so much I just want something simple for my table, HELP” ok ok…let me help her and you out, haha. BREATH!!
This season, I wanted to create a fall dining table look that feels relaxed and natural. Nothing over the top. Just a few thoughtful pieces that bring warmth and texture without spending a ton or digging through a million store aisles aka Hobby Lobby fall explosion.
The vibe? Earthy, neutral, and full of soft fall touches.
The star of this setup is right down the center of the table a loose, gathered runner of fall leaves. I used faux branches in warm browns and faded golds that drape across the table beautifully. They’re easy to bend and fluff, and you can find them at most craft stores or online. The look feels organic and slightly wild, which I love.
Tip: Let the leaves do their thing and flow naturally along the runner. Just bend the stems individually slightly going in different directions to give them an organic feel.
Underneath it all is a neutral-toned table runner that grounds the space. I chose a linen-style fabric in a soft beige it adds just enough contrast to the wood table while keeping the overall tone earthy and calm. This combo makes any space feel warm without overwhelming it.
I layered in a few tall led candles and a pumpkin I already had on hand. The best part of this look is that you can use what you already own, little white pumpkins, a simple vase, or basic Fall candle found anywhere!
This table decor isn’t just for hosting a dinner. It’s for everyday fall living. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a cozy dinner, it brings just enough autumn to your space.
