If you’re looking for a nice evening out and have a sweet tooth like no other, think no further than The Glass Knife located right in the heart of Winter Park.
From the street you can see the charming blush building and as you walk in you get a sense of France meets Disney. I mean that in a magical way, all the branding and aesthetic is romantic yet fun and elegant.

Their sweet and savory menu is carefully crafted and chef-made, using nothing but the highest quality ingredients and making everything in-house! I love the friendly staff and just the “feels” of the ambience when entering the glass knife, but who’s hungry? Let’s get to tasting!
LET’S GET TO EATING
Paired with a delicious Chardonnay I had to try their Spinach Mushroom Quiche along with the ever so tasty Roasted Tomato Cheese Soup. The arugula side salad had the most delicious tangy vinaigrette dressing, thinking about it makes my mouth water! Yum!
Avocado & Egg Toast
My husband Lucas ordered one of their popular plates the Avocado & Egg Toast! Poached egg, sliced avocado, house-made tomato confit, arugula and pickled red onion garnished with lemon crème fraiche on toasted bread. Yes please! And how pretty is this dish, all the colors!
Roasted Turkey Club Sandwhich
Lucas and I were eyeing the club sandwich off of the menu and had to get it, I mean anything with a pretzel roll had to be amazing and y’all, it sure was! I will most definitely be getting this sandwich again! Roasted, sliced turkey breast on a fresh-baked pretzel roll topped with aged cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, vine-ripe tomatoes, arugula, peppercorn aioli and a tangy honey mustard.
Did somebody say dessert?!
The showstopper are their sweets my friends! From the glamorous cakes to the detailed and artistic desserts and pastries, it’s too pretty to eat, but who am I kidding, of course I’m going to eat them!
A Date Night Complete
To end the evening we ordered the Spring Herb Sparkling Wine. It reminded me of something I would get from a speak easy! The aroma of rosemary and lemon with every sip was so refreshing!
I love this precious spot for brunch, lunch, date night or just because. It’s a perfect place to gather with friends or your loved one. Lucas and I recommend for date night, order a few of everything and share! It makes it more fun to try different things and it’s a great conversation starter too! Cheers!
