Organic Coffee, How I Make Iced Coffee at Home

Organic Coffee

Making the perfect dairy-free iced coffee at home is not only my favorite morning ritual but also a smart way to sidestep those $12 coffee shop tabs. Here’s how I brew my go-to organic coffee creation, complete with my favorite products and a sprinkle of humor.

The Perfect Dairy-Free Iced Coffee at Home

Is it bad that I need coffee to start my day? Probably, and yea, I’ve read all sorts of things about this but truly I love the smell and taste of coffee and I can’t hold back my go-to recipe that I use to make my iced coffee at home! Check it out below!

Ingredients:

  • Organic Coffee: My top pick is Bizzy Cold Brew, a smooth and robust blend I snagged at Sprouts inside Publix.
  • Dairy-Free Creamer: I swear by Forager Project’s Organic Dairy-Free Creamer. It’s the closest thing to milk, with minimal, clean ingredients and no gums or emulsifiers.
  • Sweetener: A dash of maple syrup adds the perfect touch of sweetness and blends seamlessly into cold coffee – unlike honey, which tends to stage a sticky rebellion.
  • Ice: Filtered water frozen into chic shapes using ice molds.

My Coffee Gear:

  • Glassware: Sleek, Amazon-found glasses that make my iced coffee look as good as it tastes.
  • Ice Molds: Also from Amazon, these molds turn filtered water into Instagram-worthy ice cubes.

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Coffee: Prepare Bizzy Cold Brew according to the package instructions.
  2. Prepare the Glass: Fill your stylish glass with those fancy ice cubes.
  3. Combine: Pour the cold brew over the ice, add a splash of Forager Project’s creamer, and sweeten with maple syrup to taste.
  4. Stir and Enjoy: Give it a good stir and savor the homemade goodness.

  1. Bizzy Cold Brew: My personal favorite for its smooth, less acidic profile, making it ideal for cold brew enthusiasts.
  2. Stumptown Coffee Roasters: A well-balanced, smooth brew that’s a staple in the organic coffee scene.
  3. Wandering Bear: Offers a robust and smooth flavor, catering to those who prefer their coffee bold and unsweetened. Packaged in a convenient, shelf-stable box with a tap, it ensures freshness and easy dispensing for your daily caffeine fix.
  4. Chameleon Cold Brew: Is a smooth, low-acid organic coffee made with a 16-hour brew process. It’s bold, versatile, and perfect for mixing or sipping straight – hot or cold.
  5. Four Sigmatic Organic Cold Brew Coffee: Dark roast, fair-trade coffee with Lion’s Mane and Chaga mushrooms, aiming to provide a smooth, nutrient-dense brew that enhances focus without the typical caffeine crash.
