If there’s a reason for me to go to Target, you best believe I am going to find one, especially when it comes to decorating an entryway table. I have this gorgeous console table I found at World Market but I needed to style it without spending loads of money! So I took a trip to Target to see what I could find to complete the look!
You know I love a good Target home decor haul, and this one has all the warm, earthy tones and textures that fit right into a cozy neutral home. This look is great in the entryway or a living room! The console table…I couldn’t love it more for its size, tone, and texture, it’s the perfect base for any season really. I styled it with items that bring that coastal warmth, depth, and that organic-modern feel I’m always drawn to. Here are 6 easy tips to help you recreate this look at home!
I linked everything I used in this post below so you can shop the look easily.
Center your console with a large mirror ( or oversized art ). This not only anchors the table visually but reflects light and entryway decor feels more expansive. I used a beautiful round mirror for balance and added a wireless light above it for that designer feel, no electrician needed!
One of my favorite styling tricks is layering two pieces of art – one larger in the back, one smaller in front. You can even mix textures like wood and canvas. This gives your vignette a relaxed, lived-in feel without being overly styled.
Books are the ultimate styling staple. Stack two or three neutral-toned decor books to add height and structure. They also double as a base for candles, bowls, or small objects, enhancing your entryway decor.
I found a beautiful brass, wood or rattan tray at Target that ties everything together. Use a tray to corral your smaller items like candles, matches, or beads, this helps your decor feel intentional, not cluttered.
Candles not only smell amazing but add warmth to your space. I chose a soft blue tone to tie in with my palette. Bonus: they look pretty even when they’re not lit!
Bring life to your console with a textured vase ( or two! ) and faux or real greenery. I love the natural movement it brings to the setup. Include these elements in your entryway decor, like pampas, olive branches, or eucalyptus for that grounded, organic look.
If you’re going for a warm, relaxed entryway or living room vibe, this neutral + earthy aesthetic is such a winner. And it doesn’t have to break the bank, Target truly came through on these decor pieces!
