If you’re anything like me, sometimes hanging lights up can be a real pain in the butt! Especially if the light fixture you want is in an area that would be very pricey to place electricity and wiring. In our 1958 home that we are currently renovating, I wanted to add two barn lights in our Florida room which definitely didn’t have any option for us to place writing in, so these handy dandy lights to the rescue saved the day! And our pockets too!
After buying the choice of sconces that you prefer, remove the back portion of the battery powered lights by twisting it off. Next you will want to place the Gorilla Glue around the edges of that back light piece.
Then, place that piece on the inside area to cover where your light bulb / light socket would normally go, this will then cover that area. Keep the light glued in place for at least 2 hours to dry. If you have something heavy to place on the light to help secure and add pressure, do that as well!
Once 2 hours have gone by, take the top piece of the LED light with batteries installed, twist it back on the light and that’s it!
Now you can hang your light on the wall, and it’s ready! Use the remote control to direct which lighting you would like to use, from dim to bright. Enjoy!
