Fall is here (well, at least in spirit, it doesn’t quite feel like fall yet here in Florida!), but that doesn’t mean we can’t start transitioning our homes into the season. For me, autumn decor is all about simplicity, earthy tones, and layering textures without going overboard on the bright oranges or fake maple leaves.
I’ve always believed that you don’t need a million pumpkins to create a cozy vibe. Instead, think soft neutrals, natural elements, and little touches that bring warmth to your dining room table. How to decorate a table for autumn?
The key is layering. Start with a neutral table runner or linen base, then add natural accents like wood or rattan chargers, ceramic or stone looking plates, and soft linen napkins. Keep your color palette muted, like beige, soft grays, or sage green. Then, layer in subtle fall touches like a few neutral pumpkins (in muted tones), candle holders, and maybe a sprig of eucalyptus. It feels warm and seasonal without being overwhelming.
