It’s that time of year where the weather is crisp and you need to stir up something warm and tasty! This chili recipe makes my mouth water just thinking about it! If you’re a sweet n’ salty person like myself, you’re going to LOVE this recipe. It’s super easy, a crowd pleasure and one of the best chili’s I’ve ever had! I’ve shared it with friends and family and it’s been a total hit each and every single time. The best part about this recipe is it’s super easy to make, with no mess, no chopping or anything! Enjoy!
Sweet n’ Savory Banana Pepper Chili
1 lbs – ground beef
1 lbs – italian ground sausage
1 can of black beans
1 can of great northern beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 bottle of regular beer ( any kind )
2 salsas ( Matteo’s Salsa is best, found at Publix, just a more liquid based one )
1 jar of hot banana peppers ( Mt. Olive )
1 jar of sweet banana peppers ( Mt. Olive )
*Low sodium on all beans if possible and pour out half of bean juice per can and the rest can go into the pot
Instructions: Cook meat in the pot first, then add salsa, beans and beer. Cook on low for 2 hours, then add the banana peppers ( entire jar with juice ) cook at medium for 15 min with lid open before serving and enjoy!
