HEARTH AND HAND

A few weeks ago Joanna Gaines released her cook book “Magnolia Table” and I was one of the first to get my hands on it! Not only am I inspired by her shared love for decor and hosting, I love that she now shares her love for food in her lovely book of delicious homemade recipes. I’ve pretty much made up all kinds of reasons for me to invite friends and family over so I can re-create some of her tasty dishes! This inspired me to design a tablescape featuring Target’s line of Hearth and Hand tableware and more. I hope that you’re inspired as much as I was to celebrate at home with your loved ones with this farm house style! GET THE LOOK

Creating a farm house styled look isn’t as hard as you may think! Take out your favorite garden potted plant for a nice centerpiece. I love faux greenery wreaths to center the table and used as a lovely backdrop.

KEEP IT NEUTRAL

Farm looks are simplistic and subtle. You don’t want to add too much color, if any at all. I stay within a neutral palette, sands, beige’s, whites, and tans. Checkered and striped napkins add a chic yet country feel to your table.

LOTS OF WOOD

Wooden accent decor to be placed on or around your table will give you the rustic outdoor feeling a farm style home will have. I personally love to mix metals with wood, giving it a touch of industrial modern feel.
